Fluid: Full Moon Fest + Open Mic
Have you ever marveled at your capacity for transformation? FLUID poetry club invites you to bellow your tunes of selfhood in a night of fierce rejoicement for the dimensions of you.
FLUID Full Moon Fest, the first of its name, plunges into the seducing combination of drag art and spoken word. This multiart, low threshold, open mic will be launched into the bosom of the full moon on the last eve of the Runokuu Poetry Festival on August 26th, 2018 at the Museum of Impossible Forms in Kontula. In preparation for your time to shine, the stage will be warmed up by drag artist Essi Laakkonen (Lula Shakespeare) and poet Susi Nousiainen, after which the main stars of the night will take over the stage i.e. the members of the audience. You can sign up for this open mic either before (-> firstname.lastname@example.org) or during the night. Playing your own music during the your set is possible/recommendable so please, bring it with you on USB. The night is hosted by the enigmatic character Nelbert Fingerd (Nelli Ruotsalainen), known elsewhere for his reputation as a feminist poet. Free entry!
